Erin + Travis' Northern Michigan Wedding

What better place to celebrate a wedding than in a place the honored couple loves? For Erin and Travis, Iron Fish Distillery in Northern Michigan is that special spot and it served as the perfect backdrop for them to say “I do.”

Their friends and family gathered in the woods to witness their ceremony, officiated by a relative of the couple. After exchanging vows, their guests enjoyed drinks, appetizers and lawn games outdoors.

After cocktail hour, guests moved inside the Distillery’s event space - a historic Michigan barn. Guests helped themselves to plates of barbeque from a local food truck for a casual dinner, and when it was time for the first dances, the couple had a big surprise for their guests. They played a personal video message that they received from Matt Stell, the singer of their first dance song, “Prayed for You” congratulating the couple on their wedding and wishing them well.

After the formal events of the evening, their guests enjoyed an assortment of delicious desserts and danced the night away. Congratulations Erin and Travis!

Megan & her team were absolutely amazing! Even as an event coordinator myself, it is important to have a wedding coordinator throughout the entire process of planning and the day of the wedding. Her input, feedback, organization and management are top notch. Everything turned out great and we were so lucky to have her help us with our special day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
