Kristen + Andrew's Detroit Reception Party

As planners & designers, we love designing around a pre-determined vision or accents of a venue that can aid in guiding a design. BUT - we do have a special place in our hearts for a blank canvas that we get to design from the ground up. This is exactly what we were able to do with Kristen & Andrew’s downtown Detroit reception , and we are endlessly grateful for the opportunity!

Andrew is a proud alumni of Michigan State University, while Kristen works as a doctor at University of Michigan, so naturally theirs is a house divided. As a wedding gift, Kristen surprised Andrew at their reception with a surprise Sparty party - and let me tell you, these Spartans absolutely WILL party! This crowd had such a vibrant energy about them as they celebrated K+A …. Go green, go white!
